Justice work is at the core of Unitarian Universalism. Our congregation is called to make a positive difference in our community and the world. We advocate, organize, and act for justice to live out the values of our faith. The most powerful thing any one person can do to make the world a better place is not to go it alone, but to join together in community with others doing the same work.
We have long been active in social justice and human rights — for example, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, women’s rights, and voting rights. We refuse to remain silent when our democracy is under attack. We partner with activist organizations outside the church and the justice work of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA).
