They stop in mid June and resume in September, the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Services at HUUC are weekly reflections that weave together our own thoughts and lived experiences with music, beauty, poetry, and words that both comfort and challenge. We draw from the prophetic words and deeds of people and movements throughout history, as well as wisdom found across traditions, and from our own reason and lived experience. Our programs for all ages inspire us and awaken us to our capacity to make a difference in our own lives and in the world.
Services may also incorporate holiday celebrations, multigenerational plays and pageants, and rites of passage such as child dedications, welcoming of new members, and coming-of-age ceremonies. We offer childcare and learning opportunities for children and youth during the Sunday service.

We love having kids in church! Our community is a place where children can grow and flourish. Classes for children take place during the service for ages 3 and up. Youth can attend programming during the church service, and there is free nursery care available for younger children.

We share a parking lot with the Harvard Town Hall. When our lot is full, we recommend parking in the parking lot located in front of the Fellowship Building at 7 Elm Street.
We are committed to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for all. Our Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible and supports those with limited mobility, though the chancel and choir loft are are accessible only by stairs.
Our Fellowship Building is fully accessible.
Assistive listening devices and large-print copies of the service are available, and closed captioning is provided on sanctuary screens. Services may also be attended via Zoom.
All-gender restrooms with changing tables are available in both buildings and are wheelchair accessible.
