Summer Service – Hope Leading to Action

Please join us via Zoom for the 17th annual Joint Summer Service of the Harvard, Littleton, Lancaster/Fitchburg, Bolton, Marlborough/Hudson and Stow/Acton UU churches.

Our country and our world are at a crossroads. We’re in the midst of a global pandemic, in the 11th hour to respond to climate change, and struggling with the continued racism that threatens people of color’s very lives in this country. We know now is the time to act for change and justice. This service will lift up hope as a source for our change and a motivating force.

Rev. Cindy Landrum will lead the online worship. The Joint Summer Service Choir led by Mike Pfitzer will also participate virtually.

The offering will be given to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.

People are encouraged to arrive ten minutes early to facilitate the process of being cleared through our “waiting room.” Please note that microphones will be muted, screen sharing will be disabled, and chatting (except to host) will be disabled for this service. The room will also be locked to new participants about 15 minutes into the service. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

You can download the Order of Service here.

For the offering, people are encouraging to contribute to the UU Service Committee at uusc.org
