Christmas Eve Service and Spiral Walk Candle Lighting Ceremony

Virtual Service

– Join us for the familiar hymns, stories, and a homily interwoven with the beautiful choral music of the combined choirs of the HUUC and Congregational church.

Spiral Walk

– We will convene in the parking lot of McCurdy Track. The event will be limited to 24 cars given the size of the parking lot and the need to park with social distancing in mind. Come at 3:30 to walk the spiral and the trails. Volunteers will greet you. The zoom service starts at 4:00 which we will participate in from our cars. We will end with lighting candles with those at home and by singing Silent Night. Wear a mask and a bring a lantern if you have one. We will provide candles with holders and some electric candles in case of wind. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided Covid style. The spiral will be available for walking after the service as well. This event depends on favorable weather and lack of ice in the parking lot, so stay tuned to your emails and call me at 617-697-0922 if you have questions. The Board of Health gave us the nod of their approval. Pre-registration required. See you there and on zoom!
