Healing through the Warmth of Connections and Gratitude

As Thanksgiving 2020 approaches, how do we find comfort and grace and re-kindle the warmth of connection at this time of prolonged separation and unease? We will reflect on memories and rituals and how these weave through us, and between us, lifting us and heartening us. How might we use words, imagery, and metaphor to brighten our way, within ourselves and between all of us, in this community and on planet Earth?

We invite you to return if you have been away from our Sunday mornings together; to reach out to someone you miss, people from our congregation as well as friends and loved ones to share this fellowship with. You can forward this email for them to link to the service.

And please bring a candle and a lighter and something simple that you can use for “connecting”: it can be a rope, a bungee cord, a scarf.
