Worcester Chamber Music Concert

Our Sunday morning services are in-person in the sanctuary and live streamed via this Zoom link.

As we are all aware COVID-19 is still with us. While most of us are vaccinated and boosted there are still people who are at higher risk from this disease than the average. We are a welcoming community and as such, care for one another. In that spirit the Board and Reverend Bran request that everyone wear a mask for in person services to protect all our members and to encourage everyone who is able to attend. We will continue to provide extra masks, available at all church entrances, to those who need them.

Landscapes Hidden and Seen

A fantastic musical montage, running from the joyful and diverting side of Beethoven in his Serenade for flute, violin and viola, to the Chamber’s Mark Berger’s exploration of sonic possibilities in his Landscapes for piano quartet. These leading to Elgar’s massive Piano Quintet, a work filled with wonder and grandeur, demanding virtuosity from both pianist and quartet, an unleashing of musical torrents that pull and collide, filled with chromaticism and melody.

Pre-Concert Talk at 7:00 p.m. with Harvard’s own virtuoso pianist, Sonya Ovrutsky Fensome.

Tickets: Adults $29; Students $10; Youth under 17 free admission.
