The public is invited to a talk by Dr. Alice Rothchild, A Jewish American’s Journey: Heartbreak and Hope in Israel/Palestine.
Dr. Alice Rothchild, is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist who worked in the health care reform and women’s movements for many years. She contributed to the first edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves, joined women’s consciousness raising activities, and worked for health care reform on the grassroots level. Since 1997, she has focused much of her energy on understanding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, leading many delegations.
Dr. Rothchild will sign and sell her books and DVD after the Q&A. Sponsored by:the Human Rights Awareness: Palestine/Israel Committee, and the Social Justice Ministries Council, of the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church. Dr Rothchild will sign and sell her books and DVD after the Q&A.
