Rose Ceremony for Graduating Seniors
Date(s) - 06/11/2017
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church
Whereas we give a rose without thorns to families during baby and child dedications, we give a rose with thorns to graduating seniors. The reason we give our seniors a rose with thorns as they graduate is because we recognize that, at a certain point, we are unable to protect them from whatever dangers or struggles they may face out in the world, but the rose reminds them that we are still here for them, that we still care deeply for them, and that they will always have a home with us.
On June 11, at 10 am, we will recognize our graduating seniors during a Rose Ceremony. We hope that you will be able to attend this worship service in show of your support for them.
