In this workshop participants will learn the differences between mazes and labyrinths. They will also learn the parts of the Chartres-Style Medieval Labyrinth, and the three stages of a labyrinth walk. Participants will then experience two different labyrinths. They will “walk” a hand-held Classical Labyrinth with their finger, and then use a Labyrinth Inspiration Card to walk a Modified 7-Circuit Chartres-Style Medieval Labyrinth with their feet. (A hand-held version of this labyrinth will be provided for those with mobility issues.) Time will be provided for participants to share their experiences on the labyrinth. While there is only one path, there will be many experiences. Please wear or bring socks to protect the canvas labyrinth. Shoe covers (booties) will be available for those who
prefer to leave on their shoes. There is a limit of 20 participants for this workshop.
