Coming of Age (COA)
A program for 9th and 10th graders
The Coming of Age Program provides youth with the opportunity to reflect on what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist for themselves, their families and for others. This is a time to reflect on what it is you believe:
- What is sacred to you?
- Do you believe in God?
- Is prayer helpful?
- What gives you comfort in times of stress?
- Can this faith help you?
We recognize that beliefs can change–but this program allows youth to consider and articulate what it is they believe. This program culminates in a recognition ceremony honoring our teens as they enter youth hood.
COA will be offered this year, from September – December.
